Warning: This is a pre-release (alpha) for beta testers only. This release is *not* for use in production.
This release should be treated with similar caution as the daily snapshots. It may contain serious bugs.

For day to day and production use please download a Lazarus 1.0.x (e.g. Lazarus 1.0.12) release. You can find this in the parent folder.

If you wish to participate in the early testing, you should be prepared  to backup and restore your data.
If you do not feel experienced enough, please wait for the first release candidate in a couple of weeks. You can still join the testing then.

This folder contains the pre-release for the 32 bit version of Lazarus. This installation is for all supported 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows.

  * The default installer is:
     lazarus-1.1.99pre-release-fpc-2.6.2-win32.exe

     You should download this file, if you want to work on any Windows 32 or 64 bit version.

  * For building 64bit Windows applications:
     lazarus-1.1.99pre-release-fpc-2.6.2-cross-x86_64-win64-win32.exe

     You will still require the lazarus-1.1.99pre-release-fpc-2.6.2-win32.exe. This file can be installed as add-on, if you wish to develop for 64bit Windows too.
	 
	 If you install this on a 64bit Windows PC together with the 32 bit Lazarus IDE, you will be able to build and debug 64 bit applications.

  * For WinCE development ONLY:
     lazarus-1.1.99pre-release-fpc-2.6.2-cross-arm-wince-win32.exe

     You will still require the lazarus-1.1.99pre-release-fpc-2.6.2-win32.exe. This file can be installed as add-on, if you wish to develop for WinCE


The installers include FPC 2.6.2 and they include the Lazarus help files.
